Christmas 2012
Our Christmas this year was a lot of fun, and it expanded over the course of 3 days! We had Christmas with our family in Anacortes on the 23rd, Christmas Eve we spent with Mommy's side of the family at Grandma Laura's house. And Christmas day we spent together in our home. Grandma Laura came over to see what Santa gave you!
Here are some pictures of this special Christmas!
Then we spent Christmas morning at home. Here is a picture of our tree with all the presents that Santa brought for you!
Oh and I also wanted to document more words that you are saying and signing:
Saying:
Papa, Nana, Momma (Mom), Dadda (Dad), Hunter, outside, hat, socks, shoes, hot, bath tub, teeth, all done, cat (which you say tat)
Signing:
Please (you are even starting to sign please with out me having to ask for it), more, food, hat, shoes, socks (kinda), day, new day, water, bath, rain, sleep, thank you, horse
And another fun thing that you are doing now is opening doors. I taught you to do this because you kept closing yourself in my closet, and then you'd cry because you couldn't get out. But this has also caused some problems too. I cannot put you in your room for a time out, you just open the door, you have opened up the front door, so we have to make sure it is locked, and you open up the door on people when they are using the bathroom! But at least I know you won't get stuck anywhere! :)
Here are some pictures of this special Christmas!
Your Daddy was not feeling well, so he stayed bundled up!
You had a blast rolling around in all the wrapping paper.
Nana wearing her new neclace!
Papa with his new mug!
Grammy Bob with her new necklace!
Here are some pictures of Christmas Eve with Grandma Laura, Grandma Sue, the Hodgsons, and the Sutherlands
Uncle Ben, with your cousin Ashley
Grandma Sue loved the necklace we made her.
Grandma Laura with her mommy, Grandma Sue.
Here is the whole clan.
We got the girls their own quiet gospel ABC books. This is a picture of me reading Starlynn's to her.
Auntie Brenda got a purse from Grandma Laura.
You and Launa both really like your cany canes!
The girls got a really cool Riding Thomas the Steam Engine! You loved it!
The Hodgson clan!
For some reason you were doing this really weird thing with your mouth! You just figured out how to do it all on your own.
Our little family in front of their tree!
Merry Christmas!
Some of the things Santa brought you:
Wooden blocks
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Shape Sorter
Cars figurines
Jake and the Neverland Pirates figurines
Play mat
Mommy and Daddy got you:
Books
Thomas the train and track
You always manage to stack your toys! It never fails! So cute!
Santa even brought a toy for Mommy and Daddy! Better watch out!

Another Zoo Trip
We decided to take another zoo trip with the family. We thought that since it was raining, it wouldn't be busy, just like last time. But we were wrong. It was Christmas break for the schools so it was a lot busier. Oh well, we still had a good time. Here are some pics we captured:
It was a very fun day at the zoo. We love getting you kids out of the house.
We did the carousel first this time. Less tears from the girl cousins this way!
I'm not sure if you have ever ridden a horse on the carousel. This time it was the walrus!
Starlynn got the horse with the real tail.
Harmony all bundled up with her Momma!
Launa got "Bob". It looks just like the real horse Bob that Auntie Leslie uses to teach lessons.
A real seahorse, It was cool to see one. I've never seen a real one before.
The Momma tiger was WAY up on the hill this time. Since there were so many people she did not want to come down. Since the last time we were at the zoo the Daddy tiger died of cancer.
This is Min, and the one behind her is her mate Chunk. They are Asian Small Clawed Otters. Chunk is 17 and Min is 5. She is a lot faster than him. She stole his food away from him.
Here are the tiger cubs. They have grown so much since the last time we were here. Berani and Dumai. They are very playful!
So you then decided to push the stroller! You were a wake, so might as well!
I love this pic of you and your Dad! You 2 are my studs!
Walking around like a big boy!
And chasing after Starlynn, but you wouldn't go as far as she would.
The only way we could keep you with the group was if we played games with you!
This peacock was in the parking lot as we were leaving. Very pretty, but very in the way!
