Oh the things you do....

Right now you are about 10 1/2 months old. I have wanted to start this blog your whole life, and I am finally getting around to it! But in my defense it is not for a lack of desire, you have been so challenging that I physically did not have the chance, and mentally I could not take on any more!

But now we are both doing much better! I have been asked a few times by people, "Is he always this pleasant?". And I can now say "Yes!". You are so happy now! We have a good sleep pattern down, you love eating your solid foods, and I'll tell you what, a well fed, well slept baby makes for a very happy baby!

I really wanted to start your blog today because you have done a couple things today that I had to write down!

This morning after you woke up, you were playing and you pulled yourself up on the table and you grabbed my phone, (you love my phone), and you put it up to your ear like you were talking to someone! And I put you in your chair to eat breakfast and you signed "more" to me for the first time.  Auntie Leslie is letting us borrow the 1st DVD of Baby signing time. You have been watching it everyday. I can tell that you recognize more words, like "all done" "horse" (because we have a horse that you love to go see), and "water".  We are working on "eat" and "dog".

You are so much fun right now! You laugh and giggle when we tickle you. Your Dad tosses you onto the lovesac and you come back for more. You give the sweetest kisses. When we go to put you down for your naps you love to snuggle on our shoulders, the you sit up give a kiss and lay back down! I love those precious moments.

You have made life so fun! We love you so much and the sweet spirit that you have brought into our home!
